This is one of the places we like to call “traditional for us when we are in Vienna”. Yet a bit touristic, this is still a lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee or have some lunch :-)

Huge cafe with super size market umbrellas locate around the corner from Stephans Square at # Graben 31. At night they are all lighted with movie house light strips. Good place for drinks and sweets.

After walking around hangry on a very busy friday night, we ended up here. I didn't imagine this place to be reasonably priced as it was in the main city square. To my delight the cocktails, main dishes(I had gnocchi) and deserts all tasted amazing....More

This esplanade is an excellent place to rest after the city sightseeing and to observe the Viennese that pass in the streets (as well as the tourists). It has a large choice of coffees and teas.

We made a point of coming here for Ice creams as we had been here five years earlier. And yes they were as good as ever. The dishes are expensive but then so is the majority of eating places in Vienna. There is a great...More

Had a lovely lunch here so wanted to all go back for supper in our last night in Vienna. However, the outside area was full so we tried indoors. We’d barely sat down before we decided to walk out again - the thought of eating...More

We dined here outside twice. Once late in the evening and the other time in the late afternoon. We don’t smoke and didn’t realize that the outdoor seating on the pedestrian street in all smoking. The first time we ate there it wasn’t too crowded...More
