Being from New York, we did not expect to stop for dinner at a Greek restaurant. However, since this restaurant was across the street from our hotel, we decided to give it a chance. We were not disappointed probably because we did not have any expectations about Austrian Greek food being authentic. I did order my favorite Greek dish moussaka,... More

My friend and I decided on Greek for dinner and happened to find Achilleus. We should have keep looking. The appetizers were good. For dinner we shared a "greek" salad that had iceberg lettuce. The chicken and lamb skewers lacked flavor. Overall not impressed and I've never been to a Greek restaurant that had schnitzel on its menu. I recommend... More

Achilleus was very close to the hotel and looked less busy then many of the other places we had looked at. We shared a mixed plate to start (veggie) really tasty falafell, hummus, a aubergine cold stew, wondefully garlicky tzatiki (bread extra maybe a bit mean) and other bits and pieces. Good value wine list (all Greek). I had lamb... More

The staff is not very friendly and their food is quite over priced and not very authentic. Within walking distance one can find other Greek restaurants that offer food in better quality

Fin grekisk restaurang. Bra priser. Miss The bread to our gyros. Usually when you arrive to a Greek restaurant you be served bread and water. Not here? And after a good dinner you get a Nice glass of Raki but not here. Anyway good food and Nice service

We went to this place with a couple of friends, and all of us were very pleased of our choice. The food was very good (I ate Moussaka, which I definitely recommend), the service was fantastic and as a bonus, the restaurant it designed in traditional Greek style (white and blue everywhere, simply nice). To summarize, recommended.

We had Easter celebration with traditional Greek food. Our friends had chosen this restaurant. The first impression that one gets when he enters the restaurant is that the decoration hasn't been changed since the 70's. The menu consisted of 2 (!) plates - no dessert ! Magiritsa (a traditional easter food) and lamb with potatoes. Most of our friends and... More

We have been to this greek taverna in Vienna a couple of times for dinner. The Food is good, not too expensive and the waiters are very friendly. I also have been there a few times at lunchtime as I did work nearby. They offer three courses for lunch (soup and a main dish) at a modest price. The restaurant... More
