I spent a few months in Thailand and it's the only authentic Thai food I ever had outside of Thailand. I have been to places like the ones in Queens, New York where all the Thai people go and eat. But this place is just like Thailand - food, service and all. It's surprising to find a place like this... More

I've eaten at small places similar to this, which somehow manage not to make you wait over an hour if you happen not to order what they suggest, also managing not to charge ridiculous prices. I am quite tolerant of highly-spiced food, but 15 or so red chillies still with the seeds inside was way too much heat!! And my... More

So it´s not right at the Stephansplatz, and it is not so fancy decorated like Patara (where you pay not for great food but for the waiters serving even your dog like slaves), but it is a very special ambience where one amazing woman cooks on a 2 small stovetops, everything selfmade and weekly delivered direct to her from Thailand.... I have lived in Austria for almost two years now, and I've gotten used to bad service. So, when I read the reviews that said the service was bad but the food was good, I chalked it up to the typical Viennese dining experience. I went with a friend of mine who lives right around the corner from the place... More

It's funny. I read only the first few words of the first few reviews before I went here. The food was good. Crazy hot and spicy green curry. Definitely couldn't finish it because it was so hot. But it was the real deal. But I didn't read the rest of the reviews that called the owner/cook a evil yoda. Um,... More

They should have their work license taken away! Overpriced! No customer Service! The place is run by a man (waiter) and women cook. Man offers only beer and orange juice I head to beg for water. The cook is pushy so we had to order right away since she wanted to close early. 80% or menu (which is overpriced) is... More

Yes, it's true...the food is good. A bit pricey, but you'd pay the same at Patara (although Patara's venue is much nicer). But what is also true is how rude and possibly disturbed the elderly chef is. It's owned by a husband/wife team, where the husband is the waiter (quite friendly) and the wife is cook. Pretty much all the... More

the food is very good though the cook refuses to change a small detail in the recipe even if you are allergic to this ingredient. the prices are high in comparison to the standard in this restaurant (no toilett inside, if two people visit the restaurant, they have to accept that strangers will be seated next to them without asking)... I’ve rated it average although you either love or hate it. I guess if you are a Thai lover you’d put up with every strangeness this place and its owner has to offer for, what many claim, the best and the most authentic Thai food in Vienna. Because I’m not a Thai lover I wouldn’t return unless to accompany friends.... More

A small basement with an open kitchen serving (sometimes, if you behave just right) very authentic Thai dishes. Unfortunately, it is run by a very small lady with a huge attitude problem. We saw the owner noisily and very rudely throw out a party of about 10 people over the fact that someone stopping by to say "hello" had a... More
