Had breakfast and evening meal here and it was the best food we have had...and not just in Vienna! Friendly, English speaking staff. English menu option. Excellent value for money. Recommend the chicken dishes and the breakfast option are vast. Decor was lovely, very Christmassy. If your in Vienna, pay this little cafe a visit. You will not regret it!!... More

Great little cafe, very nice menu which changes frequently. We both had King prawn salad which was delicious. Friendly, print, service. Breakfast menu looked good as well.

After browsing the excellent gay bookshop Loewenherz adjoining this cafe, we decided to stop for a drink and a piece of cake. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we visited two further times, meeting friends there and having snacks., even though we were staying on the other side of town.. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, without being... More

Just next the Löwenherz Bookstore, a nice, LGBT cafe - close to the center of Vienna. When I visit the city, I often come here. Nice service, good quality.

Great cafe and close to our little apartment! Great service, lovely food! Great to be out of the tourist zone too. I had a wine spritzer called ugo? Very refreshing! Prawn salad was delicious!!

Cafe Berg is famous for its breakfast. And they have it all: from American to fitness. Service is very informal and so is the interior desifgn. Customers can read various magazines and newspapers.

I spent my last morning in Vienna in this cosy cafe. I went for breakfast and the overall experience was good. The quality of breakfast was good except the filter coffee that it had a weird taste. I think there is room for improvement. I learned about this place on line and it was also suggested by a friend.

Really liked this small restaurant a 15 minute walk from my hotel. Very polite and charming staff. Had an excellent pasta dish and a delicious dessert , washed down with a couple of glasses of local wine . It was quiet being August , but I would certainly go there.

A bit tucked away but worth the walk from one of the two metro stations about ten minutes away. Best thing about this was that they serve breakfast (and a good variety!) until 3.00 pm - we found over the course of a week in Vienna that trying to find places that served breakfast at all was quite a challenge!... Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
