So glad we decided to wander up one of the little side streets off Stephansplatz otherwise we would've missed this place. Our pizza bread with garlic starter was not what we expected but...it was better! Hot, fresh bread with beautifully mild olive oil with grated garlic for dipping. My husband enjoyed his big plate of spaghetti bolognaise and I loved... More

We found this restaurant by accident and went there for lunch. We enjoyed it so much that we went back there the next day. We had very nice waitress. The chef and staff were also speaking in Italian, so I assumed that the food will also be authentic. We were really surprised how good the food is. Pizza bread with... More

My family enjoyed a quick lunch one afternoon. The service was friendly and fast. The crust was light so you left satisfied but not stuffed. The anchovies were very tasty and there were plenty on my pizza. The sauce had good flavor. The size of the pizza was a bit large for one person - we skipped the crust so... More

I had a salad and some wine. It was sweet (dolce) wine and it was only 3euros for my glass of redwine. The salad was about 10euros. reasonable place compared to those right in the middle of Stephensplatz just because it is at a small lane.

We stumbled across this place feeling a little peckish so we went in for a light bite. We shared one of the best pizzas ever with a nice glass of local beer it went down a treat. Friendly and very courteous staff. You don't need to worry about tipping as there is a cover charge on your bill. Good place.

Good location, nice restaurant and reasonably good service, but the minestrone soup had no other taste but salt. The house Merlot wine was only average. During casual conversation the waiter admitted the "wild boar" sausage in the penne with red wine sauce was not at all wild. I could not even taste the wine sauce because of the terribly overpowering... More

Well needing somewhere to sit down and have lunch vienna is full of great places. We came across this place. The staff welcomed us with a smile and as my wife is diabetic they could see she needed sugar. With great speed they provided a coke which helped greatly. We ordered two salads and whao it was delicious. The atmosphere... More

I stumbled across this restaurant. It was a quiet time but the food and wine were good and the cheerful waiter was happy to stop and chat about wine, travel and football. All-in-all a very pleasant lunch.

Had two pleasant lunches when the food and staff were fine. So much so that we booked for our last evening in Vienna. Big mistake! Within a few minutes of arriving we were the only customers and were made to feel as if we we were a nuisance. The staff seemed to have undergone personality transplants and to call the... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
