This place was near our hotel and luckily we got a table without a reservation as it was very busy. We had the goulash and the boiled beef, both very good dishes. Great location and atmosphere with friendly staff.

This restaurant is near to the Stephansdom or can be reached by walking up Dorotheergasse from the Hofburg Palace. Thankfully it was a chilly day so we decided to eat inside. It was full of locals & families having lunch, with a fantastic atmosphere. Somehow...More

Old time Austrian pub near St. Stephen's Cathedral. Reasonable prices considering its location in the tourist area. House beer and wine for good prices. Large portions of hearty Austrian specialties: schnitzel and goulash. Quick kitchen. Friendly, English-speaking staff.

Almost too genuine to be true. Very typical viennese food. The tiny kitchen is doing a super-human job turning out so many different dishes at an equally super-human pace. Staff working at warp-speed are still very friendly.

I know that Vienna is expensive so I went online to see if there were any reasonably priced meals and this one fit the bill. Don't expect too many vegetables with the meals. Salad was pretty good. It's a lot of potatoes and meat. The...More

I would definitely make a reservation for larger party. I'm sure they will be busy on Sunday evening. You will enjoy the experience!
