Small restaurant in central Vienna - we were recommended to visit by our tour guide. Restaurant is relatively cheap with mains being 8-12euros. It's very popular, and we had to wait for a table - not a problem. However, once inside service was very slow,...More

Almost too genuine to be true. Very typical viennese food. The tiny kitchen is doing a super-human job turning out so many different dishes at an equally super-human pace. Staff working at warp-speed are still very friendly.

I know that Vienna is expensive so I went online to see if there were any reasonably priced meals and this one fit the bill. Don't expect too many vegetables with the meals. Salad was pretty good. It's a lot of potatoes and meat. The...More

I got there early but the place was still busy. I had boiled beef with vegetables in a sauce. Before that had leberknodel soup. I had a couple of Krugels of beer as well. Excellent value and not at all touristy.

This was recommended by our guide- it was very tasty, and had good prices- to note- they do NOT have veal schnitzel, and this is something we were looking for. Also, the horseradish is very spicy so beware! And they do not take credit cards.

After having read the comments on Trip, decided to give this place a try. A bit of a disappointment, first of all as we were only three and there were other people also waiting for a table; they decided to sit us at a table...More

The roast pork with dumpling and sauerkraut and the beef soup were both good, not our favorite since being in Austria though. Overall, we had a nice experience so if you are looking for an authentic, cozy meal this is a good place to go.
