This is the fourth time that we had dinner here in the last 2-3 years, once on the nice outside terrace, three times inside on cooler days. This last time, we shared an order of vitello tonnato (thinly sliced veal with a dressing) as an...More

We have eaten here dozens of times and normally find it be very efficient with excellent food, for us probably the best Wiener Schnitzel in the City. The restaurant was reasonably full but our waiter seemed to be working at half speed and initially thought...More

My wife and I had a cup of excellent Viennese coffee when we visited the older Fleischmarket in Postgasse within the Stubenring. The service was first rate, the seating comfortable and it is everything you think of as a Vienna cafe....bar its name of course.

If going for dinner, call ahead to reserve a table. The place is full with visitors just stopping by for a drink or dessert, or a full sit-down dinner. Dishes cooked fresh, seasonal specials too.

We went to the Cafe Engländer because one of the Viennese newspapers had listed it as one of the places to have one of the best Wiener Schnitzels in the city. And that is what my husband wanted. We had reserved for 5.30 pm and...More

First the good news: food and drinks were fine (clear beef broth with liver dumplings, gulash soup, apple strudel, interesting beer). And now, the very bad news: this establishment thrives on a huge incredibly well-attended SMOKING SECTION, barely separated from what in this day and...More

We found this café near our hotel, although it has also been recommended. We only stopped in for coffee and dessert, so I don't know about the main meals (but the menu looked good and it was obviously popular). Prices were reasonable, but there is...More

This restaurant was recommended and it was really good. The food was tasty although the serves are large. The consommé was utterly delicious as was the dish of boiled meat and veggies. Doesn't sound great but goodness me, it was fresh, clean and extremely tasty!...More

Just love this place, relaxed, good classical Austrian cousin, great for a quick bite and a great alternative to other places in Vienna

A small café down town Vienna with character. Serving typical Viennese specialties, well above average, but most importantly different. Not the usual Austrian décor, more relaxed. Good service, good beers, wide bar selection, reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit this season for its goose plates.

Prices were mid range. Not what I considered expensive for the Innenstadt in Vienna. Food was good. Service was a bit rude. But it was filled with locals rather than tourists. Hope you enjoy Vienna.
