I have been in many Aidas, this one is by far the most crowded because of it's position. Quality is the same at everywhere but the stuff is a little unfriendly because of too many customers. You need to wait for a while to give your order and to get them.

I am the biggest fan of sweets, but as I want to keep myself healty, I try to practice as much as I can, and to keep my sweets at minimum, so I dont get fat. So the point is, that am all about quality of the sweets, and Aida has the worst quality! They just look nice, taste is... More

I tried this cafe in another place and was extremely happy with everything. So I made it a point not to have my coffee or patisserie but from there. Till I tried this branch, the service is very poor and the woman who takes orders is very rude. I wouldn't try it again

This is about the shop at Alserstraße: Terrible service, terrible coffee, overpriced. Probably the worst coffee I had in Vienna and the most expensive as well. Don't go there! Horrible!

TThe Cafe-Konditorei Aida located in the middle old town area of Vienna city next to St. Stephan Church, it's very nice Cafe House in this area, a lot of sweet of course you can get some original Austrian's food for lunch, whole year is always not easy to get table there you need little time to wait when somebody finished,... Stopped here by chance.. this branch is very central (although lots then seen around Vienna). For a café so central we were surprised the prices here were lower than other places - perhaps due to the more modern décor?... it's not exactly a traditional Austrian café! Anyway - the food was excellent, we had lunch and we returned again later... More

Went to this cafe as it is situated very close to Stephensplatz, we found our seats whilst my partner went up the very busy counter to order, he ordered 2 teas and 3 mini cakes to eat it but was given take away cups and a paper plate and fork with our pastries - did not bother us at all.... More

Lovely, inviting place, gives you a warm feeling and has this familiarity to it! It's a popular Café in Vienna which has several branches. Loved going in there as it was midtown, close to my hotel and had a wide selection of goodies. The staff there were nice and efficient. If you need a quick bite this is the place,... More

Two adults and a 3 y/o. We ordered a Mozart cake and a Sacher torte. The cakes were great. They also gave us small water glasses with the cakes to help us with all the chocolate. Only thing is the staff made us sit and wait for a waiter, and didn't let us just pick a cake and pay for... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
