Two adults and a 3 y/o. We ordered a Mozart cake and a Sacher torte. The cakes were great. They also gave us small water glasses with the cakes to help us with all the chocolate. Only thing is the staff made us sit and wait for a waiter, and didn't let us just pick a cake and pay for... More

Frequented heavily by locals, conveniently located Aida stores offer high quality, freshly made cakes and coffees at about half the price of Demel. However, the tables are more cramped and the service can be a little unreliable. You will still want to take in Demel.

Very nice place for coffee or dessert. They offer a variety of cakes and desserts. It is always full of people and places are hard to find, but worth the wait.

A little bit on the expensive side if you like your dishes bigger. We sat there for a quick lunch. It seemed to be a great get away place from the freezing cold outside. It works better as place to enjoy your coffee and cake and it's menu shows a grand variety of cakes. The only place I found myself... More

I have never encountered staff that was so rude. The people working there went out of the way to be unkind. The woman making the coffee was miserable. We asked for our pastries to be made to be eaten at the counters and our coffees to go. Everything was given to us in to-go containers. We ate the pastries at... More

Aida is one of the best places to go for a coffee and cakes in Vienna. They have a vast selection of cakes. The cakes are good ( most of them tried and tested!!! ). The place is very busy and crowded, and probably you have to wait for a table. Service is slow and on two occasions the server... More

With our day trip to Vienna, and after some good reviews, made it a point to drop into this little cafe and get some macarons to go! They did not disappoint and loved the little packaging. From the six flavours, the standouts were the Pistachio and the Strawberry.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
