Tinto Rosso is located at the center of the city in Dr.-Karl-Lueger-Platz. They had a nice collection of wines, more Austrian ones. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Its a nice and cosy place serving some great crostini!

This is a lovely place to share a glass of wine, extra nice in the summer when one can enjoy the outdoors. They also sell their own wine, both for take away and for consumption on the premises. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant wine bar with a wine selection (mainly Austrian) of good quality. Featured producers are not just the typical country-wide famous ones, but also smaller ones which produce excellent wines and meed more recognition. The staff is nice and welcoming. Cheeses plate is excellent and the portion is very generous. Small and cosy place with high and low tables,... More

We called in twice here, to this cozy wine bar under an archway. There were plenty of international wines on the list but we chose the local wines, especially those from the Neusiedler See from the south of Vienna. The bar's own label Tinto Rosso wines from there were excellent! The Viennese way of serving by the 1/8th litre (achterl) lets... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
