On their window it sys they accept credit cards. When I went to pay waiter said "cash only". Didn't want to argue with him as we just arrived from Budapest 30 min prior & was tired. When I was about to give him the cash I asked "why is there additional charge? Is it gratuity?" His cocky response was "no... More

I am currently living in Vienna and tonight my friends and I decided to go out for drinks and sadly ended up at ocean one. The cocktails tasted as if someone had melted an eraser and served it as a drink.. When we complained to the weighter he made a snotty commend and told us we had to pay for... More

Horrible restaurant. It was the first restaurant where I have eaten in Austria and don`t recommend to anyone! Food is poor, frites are bad, the wienerschnitzel was not good. The worst thing I had experienced here was something that I have never imagined in Austria before. The waiter didn`t give me the bill !!!, he told me how much I... More

It was a rainy and cold day in Vienna and we were searching for a warm and tasty soup. We ended up in this restaurant and we both ordered a goulash soup. The soups arrived and both of them they were not warm at all, so we sent them back. They didn't even apologize for the mistake and the soups... More

We went there for a dinner during August. We were having a wonderful day before going to that restaurant. It was completely changed after taking the dinner in that restaurant. We had to wait a long to order for the food though there were not that much rush. We ordered two Chicken Schnitzel and a non alcoholic fruit drinks. The... More

We were travelling through Europe by car and Vienna was a pit stop on the way to Zagreb. As it turned out we were in Vienna for lunch so decided to have a bite at Oceans One as it seemed convenient...this is where the good news stops. It was a warm day with bright sunlight, but the sun umbrellas were... More

I am currently living in Vienna Austria and I have to say that this place is by far the worst cafe in Vienna. The service is awful. I decided to ask for something different for a change and the waiter told me that I made the worst choice. He then proceeded to give me nasty looks and make snide comments... More

This is not a restaurant. They do serve food but so does McDonald's. The service is bad but the food is worse. Possibly the worst meal I have had in the past 10 years anyway.

This place was racist. We are Indians. The people sitting next to us moved to a different table. Complimentary snacks offered on the neighboring tables wasnt offered on our table.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
