Positive: the typical Italian atmosphere... and that's all. When we pay 150 euro for two we expect more than some cheese and ham for starters and a steak with white beans. One bottle red wine and one bottle of sparkling water. We had better meals at lower price elsewhere in Vienna.

Originally planned to go next door but decided on a more "classical" Italian dinner at L'Asino. A lot of Italian guests indicated authentic food and we were not disappointed: both the carpaccio and the pizza diavola were tasty. Pizza dough just right, all the ingredients fresh, prepared in a stone-oven. Prices surprisingly normal as well (in Vienna, especially city center,... More

We stopped in here for a delicious lunch after spending the morning discovering Vienna. What a delightful spot and the service was excellent.

A real Italian restaurant, all the good taste of Italy ! Pleasant and quick service, good ambience, all this for an affordable price. A place that we recommend ! Be careful, does not accept credit card.

Classic Italian Restaurant. You have the choice between Pizza, pasta, some meat and fish. The food is OK not the best Italian I had but still correct. Prices (20€/person approx.) and service are OK.

Tasty authentic wood fired pizza. Fresh salad and great wine. Good location. Reasonably priced. However, after paying the cover charge and leaving the change as an extra tip... the waiter literally ran after us (out of the restaurant) to inform us that the "tip was not included!" Pretty intimidating after a lovely meal. Won't be back, what a shame.

It was our last night in Vienna and we scrambled a little to find a good spot to conclude our trip. We ordered two kinds of pizza and the veal scallopini and the dishes were excellent. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Strongly recommend this place!

Retraced our steps while roaming about Vienna to find this spot -- it was on a quieter street, across the street from a lovely church. We enjoyed sitting outside and seeing many horse-drawn carriages roll by. We had a bruschetta and a pizza and enjoyed every bite. A light, thin crust pizza was perfect! We topped our selections off with... More

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
