Small place, bit depressive decorated so would be in need of renewal of furniture and the interior. But on the other side was nearly full. Very friendly and good service. It was the week of istrian wild asparagus, so there was a seperate menu on that. We started of with some classicals istrian ham, selection of sheep cheese and some... More

The food is excellent. Noodles, fish, etc. The service is ok but a little stiff. The place is good but could be a little more lively.

Came here with two colleagues after work on a business trip, recommended by one of them. An all new experience for me as I have not, yet, been in Croatia. We were recommended the anchovy for starter which was plain but very tasty. The ox tail was great, the dessert cakes were a bit on the dry and boring side.... More

Went there with friends. All of us were satisfied with our food. Very good fish soup with lots of fish filets in it. The pheasant ravioli with truffles seem to be around every truffle season - ours were good: Nice, but soft taste of pheasant, and yes, real truffles were also there, but not too aggressive; the cocoa in the... We found this restaurant by chance. We had pasta with truffles, and also a dessert. Everything fine, good traditional food, portions are not too large (if you are hungry, you should take pasta and meat :-) Fine, not excellent Recommended Interior is not too cool, but ok.

This is a nice little place, run by a Croatian family and serving food from that region. We came upon it by chance quite late in the evening and were enticed in by the original sounding menu. It has an old-fashioned atmosphere inside with some nice antique furnishings. We both had fresh grilled fish with aubergines and potatoes, very fresh... More

A late evening meal after the opera. The recommended calamari and to be honest, it was the best that I have ever eaten. Also side sallad was tasty and the wine recommendation fit well

I would give this restaurant a zero! Service was good which is the only thing positive. The salad arrived with a hair in it. The truffle pheasant pasta simply did not have a real truffle taste (good butter taste though). I also wanted to taste the pheasant in the pasta, but could not. In the end, you pay around 2.5... We went to Sopile as it was very near our hotel and also because the previous reviews were very good. We were not disappointed. High quality, beautifully cooked food, simply delicious. This was probably the best meal we had on our trip.

I hadn't been at Sopile for some time and didn't know what to expect - the restaurant is a family business run by husband in the kitchen and wife serving the delicious food. They come from the Istria part of Croatia, so one is fed high quality fish and very nice meats and good wines from Istria and from Austria.... More
