Found this nice little restaurant via tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. Excellent food and even better service! The strudel and banana pancakes were the perfect way to end the evening. Would recommend!

I could quite easily eat here every day! Wild garlic soup for starter then cheese dumplings with green salad for main and chocolate cake for pudding. Every course was delicious. Go early as lots of people were turned away as it was full really quickly. Lots of choice for all including me a fussy veggie! Great value.

For starters I had beef broth soup with pancakes - a very traditional and tasty dish. For mains I had the beef tartare, which was... More

One of the best restaurants I ate in Vienna. Staff extremely friendly, taking care about everything you need in an impeccable service, with an amazing traditional food and lovely place.

I went with my friend. We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor's Top 50 Restaurants in Vienna or something and decided to give it at try. We were welcomed with a warm atmosphere and the place was busy but not overly crowded. The man working behind the counter was really nice and welcoming. You could tell he cares about his customers... Wirtshause are restaurants selling typical Austrian food and this is a good one. The staff are all friendly and helpful and with smile on their faces. The food offering includes the obligatory Wiener Schnitzel both in veal and pork versions, as well as a range of other classics. The min day lunch menu is also very good and includes soup... More
