I only come here for the occasional breakfast (excellent) and the bouillabaisse. This is, without fail, the best bouillabaisse in Vienna. Period. The restaurant sits in the heart of the historic Ferstel Passage, which is charming and packet with overpriced antiquity stores. The restaurant (more of a cafe), is also a store, carrying the highest quality cheeses, a fine selection... More

In the Ferstel Passage you'll find this small, crowded, noisy and busy "bistro français". Food served looked nice, their take away (service traiteur) had great success on a Saturday afternoon. Just stopped for a drink but would come back, the "kir au vin blanc" (white wine with cassis likor) was tasty. Service and prices ok. Menu is inspired by French... More

Popped in to look at the shop and stayed for lunch! More of a bistro than restaurant and the food is very nice but towards the expensive side. We tried the special of the today which was a fantastic Tomato soup, definitely not from a tin! Followed by lamb sausages served with couscous and a spicy tomato sauce on the... More

We went for a late lunch: onion soup. a crouton slathered with a delicious gorgonzola, a fine half bottle of French Bordeaux in a friendly, cozy informal bistro setting - hard to imagine a way to improve it. Think very casual; seating in small tables next to a cheese case and shelves w. packaged good and wines. A perfect lunch... More

This place has it all, location, surroundings, friendly personal and a truly good cuisine. The food is French, excellent. I will come here, from now on, every time I'm in Wien. One can also buy wines, cheeses, and all kind of stuff only French know how to eat. Superb.

Very good coffee and chocolate trufles as well as food. All with a touch of Paris. Although u need to reserve a table inside THERE IS ALWAYS A SPOT FOR A REST BEFORE U CONTINUE TO THE NEXT CULTURAL QUEST!

We found this place as we were walking around. Outside decoration is typical French brasserie. We wanted a hot drink and we stopped. We realized that this is the "place to be" the shop is always full, the tables are not vacant for too long, people are queuing to get in. We had a small break with hot chocolate topped... More

Immediately upon entering the shop/ restaurant it feels like you are in France: the sales counter full of different cheeses, patisseries and, jams is very French. Also the tiles on the floor and the bistro tables give this bistro a French atmosphere. The Sunday brunch menu is wonderful- difficult to choose from the many things on offer. I went with... More

Cozy French cafe with great food. Roquefort mussels, divine quiche (the best in years), crepes with salty caramel, wine and fresh bread, yummy. We will be back!

It was a real delight to find this Bistro in the Ferstel passage when we were in search of a light supper. My salad was original, wholesome, delicious and my husband loved his filled baguette. We sat outside but could see that inside the place was humming with people eating and drinking wine. It's a totally cool place to be... More

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
