On the last night of our stay on Vienna we stopped by this restaurant after reading the top few good reviews. The food was good, with decent portion sizes, however, the service was terrible. Even though there was only 2 of us, our starters were served separately in a large time interval in between, and secondly, my partner's main meal... More

We ordered starters and then pizza (which we thought was a normal size as it wasn't stated). It was only when it was served were we told it was the house special at 44cm. It just wasn't possible to eat it all - even though it was delicious. Good price menu and reasonably priced drinks. Good service from friendly staff.

This is such a cozy place - I love the new one by Stubentor. Pizzas are really big so you could likely order one for two people! The caprese salad delicious and I also recommend the insalata mista! Prices are really good as well :)

We had a bit of a long day getting to Vienna & our hotel on a Sunday. The lady receptionist recommended Eatalico as nearby & really good. She was right. The pizzas are enormous & beautifully cooked; you can see the chefs making them. It was so good, we went back midweek. This time I tried Calzone. Delish! Each time... More

Great pizza, pasta and atmosphere. Food prepared after ordered and served quickly. great place to meet and dine with a group f friends, inside or outside. Outside dining is not street side, but tucked around the side of a major street. German, Italian or English.

My family and I had the pleasure to eat here on a recent trip to Vienna. the pizza was huge (enough for two) and very tasty. The pastas dishes were delicious, we had carbonara, spaghetti bolognese and lasagne - all the food was mouthwatering and tasty with a true Italian flavour. The prices were so low we could not believe... More

This restaurant serves mainly pizza and pasta and claims to serve the best pizzas in Vienna – a claim which may be justified. The pizzas are huge but great quality – light crust and plenty of toppings. Even the side salads were enormous but tasty. They also serve a good selection of draught beers to go with your meal. We... We are tourists to Vienna, and sadly like most English, we only speak English! They were happy to swap our menus to those written in English and the waiters were very attentive all evening. The food was excellent, having seen the size of the pizzas leaving the kitchen, we shared a pizza and salad which proved to be a good... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
