Looking for something new we tried Cafe Diglas and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food for the price. Great wines and the beer wasn't too bad either. A definite must do.

Came here as other cafes around had a queue. Came in and ordered a nice quick lunch of snitzel and goulash. Couple of beers and dessert. Well pleasing. Service was quick and the waiter was very pleasant

To be honest we didn't set out heading for Cafe Diglas as it is quite a way down the list of recommended Vienna eateries but we're really pleased that we found it. The young serving staff were very welcoming and recommended some nice wine. My wife had fried goats cheese and a lovely salad and I had a burger and... More

On our last afternoon we wanted a last coffee and cake experience whilst walking back to our hotel. We had a wonderful sacchercake, melange and my husband had the goulash soup. All very tasty and reasonably priced. Feeling relaxed and happy we proceeded to have wine Spitzer and beer, before sadly departing. We noticed the garden area was being set... More

Cafe Diglas is apparently one of the newer Cafes operating under the Diglas banner (we have been to the Cafe Diglas in the Stephansdom area which is more traditional). We visited this Cafe on our first evening in Vienna as it was near to our hotel and looked smart and welcoming, which indeed it was. The waiter who greeted us... More

Decided to skip the queue at Cafe Central & head here. Glad we did because it was perfect for what we wanted - a weiner schnitzel before heading home. Decent weiner schnitzel with good potato salad. Reasonably priced, quick service & all authentic.

New Year's Day and everything was closed. So glad we found this place after walking in the cold. Great traditional Austrian food with great favors and great local beer. Service was good and they have English menus and servers speak English. Dumplings were amazing and a great side salad.

Thank Eric S

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
