Myself and a couple friends came to Joma for lunch feeling a little fragile on New Years day after a spending some time wondering around Vienna's old town and we were not disappointed! It's got a really funky unique layout and really relaxed atmosphere. I had some Chilli prawns which were fantastic although there wasn't much of it! we enjoyed... More

Had lunch with the wife there. At first glance it is a cosy well decorated restaurant. We were given a nice table and the service was excellent. The food was good but not good enough to get a 5star review . all in all a nice option to eat and unwind.

We only had 30 min for lunch, staff was super friendly and reassured us we had enough time to grab some food. Not only we managed but most importantly we had a delicious meal! In Vienna we couldn't help but try the national dish. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in town!

The food was excellent: waffle, bacon, fruit. But the service is going to earn this review 1 star. I do not give one star reviews often. That's how bad the service was. Our waiter seemed uncaring when he took our order. After our food was served, I pointed out that I didn't have bacon and he said it was coming.... More

Impolite and unprofessional waiter has downgraded Joma's experience. It is one of my favourite restaurants in Vienna for many years but maybe not anymore after having experienced an improper approach to customers in service. The waiter was irritated when taking the order or adding extra items to it for no apparent reason which is very unprofessional and has already set... More

At the suggestion of our concierge, I ended up eating here twice. The food was excellent and the service surprisingly prompt. Located near the heart of the shopping district, it's easy to find. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the place was always full. Reservations are suggested near peak dinner times.

I'm a very frequent guest at Joma. I think it's one of the coolest places in Vienna. The location is great and they always have very tasty homemade lemonades. The only thing I dislike is that the food is not always as good as most of the time. Sometimes it's delicious and sometimes it's average. However, the breakfast is really... More

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, food was ok (nothing really memorable - small portions & quite expensive) & good cocktails. Reservations are necessary for evenings & weekends!

Located in the middle of the city centre next to the famous anker clock, this cozy and stylish restaurant/café offers some delicious breakfast options and good, healthy choices for lunch or dinner. Reservations are recommended, especially evenings and on weekends.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
