After our visiting of The Hofburg, already about 6 pm,felt a little bit hungry. My friend just found the Starbucks, which I like try in almost every city I visited. The food and caffee ok, and the card is free for collection, The customers around is ok, but the space seems not so big, and felt a little bit crowded.

With all the quaint, comfortable, historic coffee houses in Vienna, why would anyone want to go to Starbucks with its horrible tasting coffee, its unfriendly staff, and noisy dirty interior.

Starbucks is perfect when you need a caffeine hit, to use the loo and use the internet. Very busy most of the time as a lot of students use it for the same reason. So be prepared to wait.

I always like drinking coffee from Starbucks coz its the only coffee shop who makes my coffee perfectly. Although the toilet in Vienna central area was unkempt. Maybe coz its always busy. But the place was cozy. I like chilling in Starbucks. A place where i can have a good coffee while charging my electonics and you don't feel pressured... More

We went there to order Vanilla Crème Frappuccino blended beverage and Starbucks Vienna mug (for collection). This Starbucks is within close proximity of the huge Vienna State Library (a must see place to visit) and is ideal especially after a long day of walking around especially the huge library. The wait staff was prompt and the coffee shop was clean.... More

Stopped to get some coffee and use the Wi-Fi to find a hotel. A friend and I ordered Americanos, me with cream him black. The coffee was terrible! Very weak, tasted like dirty water rather than coffee. The pastry I got at least was good. The Wi-Fi was a hassle to sign in to, took us a long time to... More

Did not like the taste of the coffee - the staff did not make me feel welcome - I was hoping for a feeling at home away from home but did not feel that way.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
