My goulash was cold, the beef was still frozen! It was a small portion (4 small pieces of hard meat) and for that pricey too. My champagne cocktail tasted like cheap Prosecco and was not sparkling at all. Don’t eat here!
We sat in plain view of the waiters. We politely tried to get the attention of the waiters for quite some time. Then other diners started arriving, just as we had done, and lo and behold, they were served almost immediately. We were the only...people of color there. I even made a phone call to the front desk to ask if they could serve us please because we had been there for a little while, just to make a point that we were actually there because I was beginning to believe they we were invisible. This is the type of racist micro-aggression that we have to live with daily. I will be telling everybody. Aside from the racism, don't go there for the food either.More
The only place we found to sit after a walk in the zoo. Located exactly at the exit of the zoo. Beautifully decorated. Since it was autumn, the decorations were in the style of autumn. The waiters were busy enough, but in time. We ate...a couple of sandwiches.More
Landtmann’s Parkcafe is an outlet of the famous Ladtmann cafe in downtown Vienna serves fantastic desserts just outside the schonbrunn palace. Beautiful interiors and fantastic service. The Sachertort and apple strudel are to die for. The coffee is also good
I stopped for lunch on a warm July day during my visit to schonbrunn. While I waited for the kitchen to open for lunch I enjoyed a refreshing iced kaffe with vanilla ice cream. The service was efficient and my sever was friendly and attentive....I had a salad which turned out to be a little larger portion wise. There was a little too much cheese on the Parmesan fries. The patio dining with umbrellas was very nice to enjoy the weather.More
The Schönbrunn palace grounds are huge so you'll most likely want to grab a bite to eat. We ended up at this cafe just outside the zoo gates. The selection was good and tasty. The restaurant is actually under a canopy so it might get...cold in the winter. However, it was rainy when we were there and we stayed nice and dry and warm.More
Perfect outdoor corner where to stop eating while visiting Schönbrunn. There is a vast choices of good tasting meals, sweet desserts + hot/cold drinks. Decorations and kind personnel are the extra touch which make this place simply perfect! On average 13/15€ per person.
I went here in 2012 and the quality of the food has improved an d the service still the same - great and efficient. This cafe is situated at the main entrance to the Tiergarten to the left of the garden / flower beds on...the way to the Gloriette at Schoenbrunn Palace.
I had the grilled chicken drumsticks and chips plus a drink [the side salad was awful]. The drumsticks were really well cooked as chicken should be. My friend had a toastie and it looked / tasted amazing. They make their own lemonade there and I can recommend the ginger / lime one. Total cost E12.50. There is a quick turn over of food and tables - we didn't have to wait at all. I found it quite cheap.
From here you can go into the zoo, which we did. Whenever you go here, it is a nice break from all the walking at the Schoenbrunn Palace.More
