it's a place that I love visiting over and over again every time I'm in Vienna...this landmark has been featured several times in books as part of history... this historic place is nice for dinner or just coffee.

Walking from our hotel to the museums we were searching for a nice place to have breakfast......it was a chilly, rainy morning so we stopped at Cafe Landtmann. We sat outside in the "greenhouse" portion and had a lovely breakfast. After we finished, we walked...More

After trying several other apple strudels in Vienna, I found the perfect strudel at Cafe Landtmann. It also was the clear winner in service. The apples were cooked to perfection, the dough was paper thin and light. The apples were more spiced (cinnamon, etc.) and...More

Recommended by Rick Stein, we visited to try the Apfel Strudel with vanilla custard. It was superb. Polite and efficient service too. The other cakes looked amazing too.

Came here for coffee and cake and we were not disappointed. The choice of cakes made it very difficult to decide what to choose. The cream slice and raspberry and blueberry Sacher torte were lovely. The iced coffee was excellent. Totally lived up to expectations.

We do not have a dress code. Especially in summer in the outdoor garden dresses are on the casual side. But Landtmann is a elegant place downtown Vienna.
