I dined at this restaurant for the first time last evening (27 March 2017) with a colleague visiting from New York and was quite impressed by the service and quality of foods served. Everything served was tasty, including the Kaerntner Kaese Knoedel, which was absolutely the best I have ever had at a restaurant anywhwre in Austria. The fillet of... More

The sauce complimenting the steak was really one of a kind. Hence although the steak wasn't as tender as I thought, I still highly recommend it. I also ordered the sea bass which tasted wonderful. The slight disappointment was that they charge €3 per person even if you eat one slice of bread. So, I would recommend you not to... More

Family of 3--all adults--soups were outstanding--wild garlic with prawn in particular--octopus appetizer beautifully done and delicious--risotto with sea bass and Barbary duck breast both excellent. The service was paced perfectly and was friendly and gracious. Outstanding value.

Small restaurant with excellent food. Everything we had was delicious apart form a ravioli starter which was a bit too heavy. Would definitely go back. Service was good

food: classics, including Austrian ones (Wienerschnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn) but with elegant, modern touches. Nothing out of this world or super special but lovely nevertheless. Not cheap at all. SMOKE-FREE!

Little tricky to find was in Stephansplatz in the afternoon so did a reccie glad we did not sure would have found it in the dark. It is pretty much... More

A small, cozy restaurant with low lighting and a relaxing ambiance. Professional, friendly, English speaking wait staff provided excellent service. Tasting menu and a la carte both available; during our fall visit one of our party had an amazing goose tasting menu. Signature cocktails were very much enjoyed. All the courses were delicious, nicely presented, with good portion size. Though... More

Dined here (wife and self) on the 8 March having booked from the UK a few weeks earlier via TripAdvisor/Bookatable. Warm welcome, friendly and efficient service, good atmosphere/ambience, food excellent, wine list providing a sensible price range. Majority of other diners were local - always a good sign. We enjoyed the evening very much and would definitely dine there again... More

A very frustrating experience. Overall, mediocre-over-priced food and really awful service. I've been to this restaurant before and had a decent experience but this was not the case tonight. My colleagues and I we will no longer be giving this restaurant our business after tonight. When we ordered our food I knew I would be getting the Austrian pancakes for... More
