Great Location right next to Naschmarkt. Authentic japanese Cuisine and personell. They are actually from Japan and always happy to talk in Japanese with you. Food ranges from Ramen to Donburi to Unagi with the classic miso soup as appetizer. Definitely at least tied for the best Japanese Restaurant in Vienna. Also has a authentic feel in that it is... The place is very small so it's hard to get a table, some people just wait outside until they can be seated, but the staff was very helpful with this. We loved all the food we ordered, everything was very fresh and delicious. The service was fast. They have an impressive choice of dishes for such a small place. Definitely... More

It was nice to find this tiny Japanese restaurant (really tiny place with 2 counters instead of tables) because it was authentic cuisine and very quick. We had some takoyaki (squid balls), a beef curry rice and a chicken teriyaki rice. They were all good and quite cheap ( main dishes were 10,50€ each). One thing to know is that... More

First, I am not easy impressed, but the kuishimbo is by far my all time favorite restaurant. The soup is unlikely delicious, the service very friendly. No more words needed, I love it there.

The tiny restaurant is very cozy and the food is great! Just keep in mind that there are not many seats so you might have to wait a while before you can be seated

We ordered nabeyaki udon, kaisen don, takoyaki, and deep fried onion with beef (forgot the name). They all are so tasty. Very impressed with food and surrounding.

We selected this restaurant after reading all the great reviews - unfortunately - we had a very disappointing experience. Our takoyaki (entree) was frozen in the middle and our teriyaki chicken was bland, with rubbery skin left across most of the chicken. Perhaps we didn't choose their best dishes but we agreed it was the most disappointing Japanese meal we... More

I love this place. The only drawback is the size of the restaurant which can hold only a few customers at counter.

This Is an authentic Japanese food place (most of the menu is not sushi). Our Viennese friend highly recommended this tiny restaurant - and he was right, we ate a delicious lunch. Come early, when they open (noon time) or be prepared to wait for an open seat since the place only has 9 seats. It is worth while to... More

The food was really good. Definitely worth it and will come back again. Good that it is also able to take away. The restaurant is really small. Only 8 people can fit in to eat. Many people were waiting outside for a spot when we were there which also shows sign of good Japanese food.

Thank vieff
