We arrived quite late at night and were thrilled with the cozy atmosphere and selection of drinks. We decided to go for a few cocktails, which were great.

Went for a beer on a Monday night, pretty laid back. Beer was cheap (~3/4 euro for 0.5L), atmosphere was great. Looks like a great place to watch a game. There was a separate smoking section in the back, so we didn't catch any second-hand smoke. We got off at the Burgasse metro stop, and it was a 15 minute... More

Especially the Big Aussie Bite Burger is the best in town! Some ups and downs though regarding grilling of burger meat and regarding service. Also one of the finest pub quiz locations (every Thursday)! Sure worth your visit!

The Restaurant is very close to Museumsquartiert and Mariahilferstrasse located on the Lerchenfelder straße. It offers a variation of different beers (ask for the tape guest beer :-) ) and burgers (among some other dishes). I had a "Burgi" burger and the taste was really good. There was a lot of very good tasting meat inside. The burgers do not... More

My husband & I went here on a Friday evening & absolutely loved it! We got there around 7pm & had no trouble finding a seat, it started to fill up shortly after! Together, we got a Steigl (it was okay), sodas & a shot of "Hashtag"! I got the Crispy Onion burger which had fried onion strings in it,... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
