This is the reviva lof the old Lillehammer Bryggeri, now a micro brewery with licence to serve aquavitt in unknown numbers.Local food, elk burger an a bratwurst from Ringebu and some local fish as well. Only open four days a week in the evenings. This is much based on local patriots and not run for a huge profit. Charming interior in... More

Once we found the brewery which is tucked back off the road we enjoyed a couple of drinks brewed on the premises. They were both really good. Slightly rough around the edges but with a good after taste. Friendly service and locals. If you call in check out the rooms filled with bottles and glasses!

Very good local beer and food. The moose stew is excellent, and I think they make some of the better Norwegian craft beer. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice cellar bar with a good choice of beer and they serve food and bar snacks. Excellent food and good service. They suggest beers to go with their menu.

Good beer and good vibe. Cool little extra room with loads of unopened beer bottles, I would sit there if I you! We also had the moose burger which had a great relish! Nice staff!

We dined here two nights end of January, On both nights the place was all for ourselves and we really enjoyed that. The lady at the bar Olga, was very nice to us; she explained the type of local beers they produce and as i was curious she told me about the nicknack they have in their cabinets. These photos... Well worth a visit. Producing quite a traditional selection of beers, and serving only those in the brewery pub - located in a very intimate and cozy basement. Occasional local live bands in the Cavern-like (yes - Liverpool!) music room. Beware, if you have to go to the toilet while the band is playing, you actually have to cross the... More

Closed in 1983 - reopened in 2006. A short summary of something sorely missed. However, thanks to the efforts of local enthusiasts, with a passion for history, culture and quality beer, the wait is over and Lillehammer Bryggeri has been reborn. The brewery operates on a smaller scale, but the beer is better - a lot better. Visit our pub and restaurant, and you will discover this for yourself. We are located in premises built in the 1850s, on a site where first a distillery was established and then a brewery in 1847. Originally, this was home to Hammer'n, a cotter's farm belonging to Hammer Farm from which the town derives its name. Lillehammer Bryggeri aims to provide its customers with an interesting environment reflecting the town's cultural and industrial history. An area we are particularly passionate about is the advancement and development of industry along the Mesna river. The river, which flows through the heart of the town, has long been the lifeblood of the local community. Drop in and expand your knowledge of Lillehammer and its history, and at the same time enjoy our locally produced food and beverages. The brewery is fully licensed, and has a 120-people capacity. In unique surroundings our guests are able to feel, touch and taste the town's history - from beer and food to stories about the first coppersmith and modern-day events such as the 17th Winter Olympics.
