Lovely restaurant (note that there is a bar of the same name next door), interesting menu. Very high quality food and worth the money. Good wine list - of course expensive being Norway! You need to make a reservation.

We were a big party of friends, having lunch on a Sunday, all with different tastes and all of us were happy to dine in this restaurant. The place is cozy, waiters are nice, the food is great. The place is very homely and friendly, groups of people and families eating at the same time, it is kind of a... More

We went to have dinner at Bardus and loved it! The restaurant interior feels rather homey and the service is warm, welcoming and attentive. We decided to have the Horse sirloin steak (which was amazing) and the Pan fried cod (which was probably the best cod I ever had). Both dishes were arranged beautifully and were very tasty. The homemade... More

Nice lunch. Tried the reindeer stew - love it and the fish of the day was very good. Simple setting but nice ambient. Very friendly staff.

Fun, cosy little place with a good menu, really near the harbour and most hotels. We went for a late lunch and we're practically the only ones there. We had reindeer ragout and catch of the day (pollock) with a couple of cokes. Bill was £50, which made me gasp, but then I soon got used to it, it's a... More

We loved the place so much, we went twice for Lunch. The fish was so good and the bread served with the soup also excellent. The owner is very professional and nice. Heads up for this great place!

The bistro offers a small menu which the chef then dedicates his full attention, along with a thoughtful wine list. Cooked to perfection, we all had to try each other's meals with almost evangelical zeal. Personal service reaches a whole new level when the proprietor sits with you for a spell as you exchange takes of your travels, yet without... More
