Considering ranking of this place, I was a bit disappointing. I rather like more older, historical places, and this modern look in a town that has also nice, old wooden houses, the modern interior was not for me. As tea drinker, I cannot say about coffee, but tea was ok, nothing extraordinary-the same goes to cake as well. Nice place,... More

The moment you enter through the doors, the aroma of Coffee hits you. They make their coffee meticulously and it does look coffee being made in lab and not just that, the food is amazingly beautiful. One of the best meals I had in Tromso was here. The honey and goat cheese omelette was delicious.

Riso really specializes in single origin coffee, such as from Guatemala, Ethiopia or Panama. They charge a very reasonable price for these coffees and they're excellent. It would be great if they have a wider variety of cakes. The fruits of forest chocolate cake I had was yummy. But the chevre cheesecake is a little too gamey to my taste.

Great food and coffee served with a smile. Will absolutely be back for another visit! The only thing I missed was flavours to the latte.

We stumbled upon this place on way back from the museum. It's a great little spot. Although, they were out of cake, we had delicious hot chocolate which was perfect for a snowy day. The food smelt & looked delicious, although we had already eaten. We only stopped for coffee & cake. Would have loved to go back but no... More

Best cafe in Tromso! Seriously good coffee; fantastic food; and excellent service. It also opens early (7:30 am) on weekdays so you can eat and get to your activity. The croissants are freshly made each morning; the goats cheese omelette perfect; and don't miss the mackerel. Definitely a five star cafe anywhere in the world. Well done. 😊😊😊

I think I have never had a prettier cup of coffee! The baristas at the café Riso really know their business. Tasty and artfully served coffee in a stylish atmosphere right in the heart of Tromsø. Highly recommended!

We were in Tromso for 4 nights and frequented this cafe most days. The food is great especially for breakfast. I am not a coffee lover, but I had coffee everyday here. Without doubt it is the best coffee I have ever had.

Popped in for coffee. Hubby is a bit of a coffee snob and has been disappointed at times on our trip but the coffee served here was excellent. Very rich and strong. Lovely cosy little cafe, nice atmosphere.
