I guess I'm lucky enough to have eaten here twice, four years apart. Just two of the dishes were the same. Both meals were memorable, though in 2014 there was a lot more DRAMA in the way everything was presented and served (choice of plates,...More

This was our first meal in Norway and it was the best! My husband and I arrived in Oslo but our luggage did not. So, we went in our airport clothes (read: athletic leisure) and no one blinked an eye. The staff was super friendly,...More

Food, wine and juice combination were outstanding! Perfect champagne tasting. Amazing people who served us in the most relaxed and professional way. We'll be back!

This is the best treat you can get in Norway. Expensive! It is absolutely fantastic; excellent service, superb food with fantastic wine pairing. It's the Norwegian trad food; rømmegrøt, rein vaffler. All with a touch of class. Already looking forward to our next time :-)

Authentic Norwegian food is used to make fantastic flavours and texture. There is a story behind every dish and seems like they are very personal to the chefs who bring these out themselves and serve them so beautifully. Unique experience!

Money well spent. Very high expectations. Food and service shows why Maaemo have 3 stars. Went for the juice package. All juices are made at Maaemo. Awesome to try juices instead of wine. Highly recommended. Ask for chefs table. That will give you an even...More

At three stars (as they are clearly aiming for at the expense of overall customer satisfaction) this was a HUGE disappointment. Get over Yourselves! Ok food. Ok wine (very cheaply/sparingly served) and å ridiculous spectacle og the kitchen that we felt forced to attend in...More

I would say it's not very suitable for children, at least not children under five years old. Not because of the food, but because it's many hours waiting for the more then 20 dishes that are served. it's also a rather quiet... More
