The menu gives plenty of choice and the helpful staff are prepared to be flexible and accommodate any idiosyncrasies. So, two of our party had the substantial 4 course menu (which came with 4 amuses bouches and a palate cleanser of 'semi-freddo' yoghourt with celery,...More

Resturant with one one Michelin star for a long time. There is no fuss - which frequently diminish the pleasure of dining at establishments of this class. The menu is just to the point - it does not come in hefty volume. The tastin menu...More

Statholdergaarden is my favourite fine-dining-restaurant in Oslo. Classic well-known Michelin-quality food served by professionals. Chef Stiansen runs a tight ship and everything is made to perfection. The service is 100% and discreet and pleasant.

Hi, Do you serve Halal food?

I'm not so concerned about halal. The citchen is typically French, and I do not think they put too much emphasis on halal. Your question is best answered directly from the establishment.

One of the finest gourmet restaurants in Oslo, located in a 17th-century building in the old city centre. The ceiling has some of the finest stucco work in Northern Europe. The chef, Bent Stiansen, won the prestigious chef championship Bocuse d'Or in 1993. Order from the à la carte menu or try the six-course menu of the day. The menu is composed of the best ingredients available at the time Stiansen uses high-quality Norwegian ingredients, coloured by European tradition. Chambre separée for 8-24 persons. In the basement you find the more informal Statholderens Krostue, which is open for both lunch and dinner.
