Great place to eat if you love Thai food. I ordered a prawn red curry and it was beautiful. Partner ordered chicken and noodles tasted great also too. Meals weren't too pricey as compared to other places you eat out in the city. Would recommend. Friendly staff, quick service, they spoke English too which was a bonus.

Lovely food. Good for both take away as well as dining there. If not too hungry one portion suffices for two people. We asked them to make it spicy and they really did make it hot.

The restaurant were pretty jam-packed when we arrived. Luckily, someone was already leaving so we manage to get some seats. The staff were nice and friendly. Me and my sister in law ordered Chicken Phad Thai and my husband ordered Phad krapauw Kai. They served huge portions and very tasty food too. Both of the dishes are highly recommended. The... More

We had an early dinner here around 5.30pm and the place was almost full house. The service was prompt and no nonsense. Food came pretty quick and the serving was big. We ordered satay, pad Thai and green chicken curry with rice and it was reasonable for Oslo at around NOK390. Being from Singapore, we had expectations for the satay... More

Our first time visiting Oslo, We visited here today after searching for ages for a Thai place to eat, we searched on trip advisor and found this place as number 3 which I think should be number 1. Inside is quite small and compact but has a nice atmosphere. The waitress was really helpful in helping us decide which dish... More

A quick decision to get some Thai food in the land of lutefisk left some money in our pockets and our tastebuds longing for flavour. Rice Bowl Thai Cafe has a kitschy Thai atmosphere, good service, generous portions, and OK Thai food. Go here to fill your belly at reasonable prices. Please note, the restaurant does NOT serve any alcohol.

I had the chicken yellow curry which was quite tasty and reasonably priced considering the eye watering prices you hear tales of. Service was good although I was left waiting at the door for a while. I assume it was because it was busy, which is always a good sign, but it would've been nice to have been acknowledged to... More

The place is busy for a reason because the food is good. We ordered one dish which was Chicken Pad Thai and a side of steamed rice. I asked the waiter I want it spicy and that's exactly what we got. My mouth was burning I did not have to add any Huy Fong's Sriracha sauce. One order was enough... More

All is average here but the service is friendly and price level quite decent. Really nothing special but some friendly smiles, relaxed atmophere and absolutely bearable prices. We shared a sushi plate for two and were well fed at good price

Really cosy and oriental thai place. Menu is wide and food really good! Quite crowded, which tells a lot!

Rice Bowl is a small, informal Thai café located by the square Youngstorget. Thai artifacts and bamboo on the walls gives the café an oriental feel to it. Sometimes they also play Thai music. At Rice Bowl you can choose between a selection of Asian dishes, mainly Thai noodle dishes. This is a popular place, so you may have to wait a few minutes to get a table. Once you've ordered, the food usually arrives quickly, and you can get a good portion at a cheap price.
