This restaurant is located at the old parts of Bergen, little bit hidden so get the address. Food is typical Norwegian, but with a very high standard and great taste. Carpaccio on elk, skrei fish and chocolate cake was my choice and all tasted delicious

Really enjoyed our meal. Classic Norwegian ingredients, fabulously presented. Quirky, wooden building and decoration right on the port. Great for business or an intimate meal. My Reindeer was superb.

We were recommended to this restaurant. It seemed to be very popular with locals. Filled up very quickly. The starters and soup were exceptionally good. I had cod but was underwhelmed with that. It really had no taste.

I really liked this restaurant. The staff were accommodating and helpful to a solo female traveler. I had the elk carpaccio (brilliant), mushroom soup (very nice and just what the Vikings would have eaten) then the lamb (quite big but the rosemary sauce is unlike anything I have ever tasted - in a good way). Would definitely return.

We had dinner at this restaurant located in the old Bryggen quarter. It was so delicious! We had the red deer steak. An unforgettable meal.

A local favorite recommended by several of our hotel staff. We were not disappointed. Intimate location on the second floor, good service, nice menu selection.

As you walk the waterfront, look up the alley's and you'll see a sign for this place. Go down the alley, in the door and up the stairs to a rare treasure. The ambiance of this place is incredible. The place has to be 300 years old - you almost feel reverent when you sit down. Or, you could imagine... More

This is a very nice restaurant in a beautiful old building. I had the dual fish plate (salmon and halibut) which included 2 full size pieces of fish, enough for 2 people.

Delicious fish Dishes. We recommend the catfish with bacon. Unlikely combination of ingrediënts, but it Works. The interior of the restaurant is very interesting, it is (or has been made to look like) an old Norwegian woorden house with dozens of paintings on the walls. There is one disadvantage to this restaurant : the wooden floors slope so much that... More
