We had fish and a glass of wine. For dessert ice cream. The service was very good, and so was the food

My husband and I happened upon this restaurant when we were walking around Bergen, Norway---The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was absolutely delicious, particularly the freshly sliced bread served with aioli---The service wasn't great, but the food made up for it---We'd love to go back again.

This restaurant is located inside the Scandic Neptun hotel. It is small and cosy. The atmosphere was relaxed and I enjoyed the whole experience after a long drive in the rain storm that brought 100 mm of rain in 24 h. Because of this storm we decided to "eat in at the hotel" and had dinner at Pascal Mat and... More

There are a not a lot of nice restaurants open for lunch in Bergen, so this place was a wonderful surprise. Pascal has a small, but excellent lunch menu including a fish soup that is without-a-doubt the best that we've had in Norway so far. The broth was made of langostino and the soup filled with large chunks of white... More

There was a lot of fish on the menu and not so much meat. The food was good. A little slow even when the restaurant was not full.

This is part of the Scandic Neptun hotel complex.(Sort of an inhouse-restaurant). Relative small and cosy restaurant.Limited dinner meny, however excellent food but pricey.

Sine I am traveling a lot I decided to take a salad. The option was a Cesar's salad with chicken. Actually the taste was perfect the salad not too cold. All good ingredients. Unfortunately two and half hours later all came out. My suspicion is either salad was preserved on the wrong temperature or the chicken was not good. The... More

Friendly and relaxed restaurant. You feel welcome. The food is good and not so good. Depending on your choice. Ask what they recommend. Thats works. Bergen people are honest. Medium prices.

We visited this restaurant twice, once the night before our Hurtigruten trip when it was about the only restaurant open at 9.30pm and when we returned. On both occasions the service was impeccable and the food delicious. Having rather over eaten on the voyage we shared a starter of mussels which were cooked to perfection. Then we both had cod... We stayed at the hotel, and found the restaurant to be an excellent choice, staff friendly and would go out of their way to ensure everything is above standard. Prices are reasonable.
