Wonderful seafood restaurant. Top notch wine list, food and service in a superb location. Visited early December and was blown away - again! Try the lobster bisque and the monkfish paired with their wonderful Chablis. You will not be disappointed.

We had a very good meal, and there is something for everyone on the menu. This is mainly a fish restaurant, so I took the gratinated codfish (bacalao). Good food and good service.

You dine right by the water, service minded staff, fresh and tasty seafood served promptly. Presentation on the plate could be improved.

I was a bit disappointed the last time our big family visited Sjobua. This time everything was simply outstanding. The twelve of us had a wide variety of their courses, and every single one was made to perfection. Some even combined two of their starters...More

Quick and efficient service and high quality food. A good seafood option with local specialties like smoked whale as an appetizer. Both the hake and the monkfish were excellent.

By Brosundet canal you can enjoy exquisite seafood at Sjobua Fiskerestaurant. The courses are made in accordance with the areas food traditions. Tanks inside the restaurant keep the fish fresh. Sjobua Fiskerestaurant is situated in a renovated warehouse used for fish processing. Here you can enjoy a delicious sortiment of courses with fish and shellfish, made from fresh raw materials. Try tasty meals with for instance monkfish, cod, halibut, catfish and stingray. Fishing boats deliver fresh crabs and lobsters to the restaurant, and they are kept in crab pots outside in Brosundet canal. Inside the restaurant there are also special tanks where live shellfish and fish are held, so the guests are treated to fresh seafood of the highest quality, and a beautiful view of Brosundet canal from the restaurants gives a pleasant setting for the meal.
