Amazing food and great sea view location. Best seafood restaurant in town. Friendly and competent staff.

Not inexpensive, which is true throughout Norway, but delicious. The dining room overlooks the fjord. Breakfast was included with the room, and was yummy and diverse, meeting most preferences.

We read on a review or hotel promotion that seafood was a speciality here but this was not evident on the menu the night we ate here. A couple of fish dishes, yes, but perhaps it's a translation issue as seafood means something different to me. That said, the food was good quality and well prepared. This is not cheap... More

The location is great, with the view topping it all. It could be more space between the tables, but this is what most restaurants are like. I just prefer a bit more privacy when I'm out dining... We were there a Friday evening. Quiet, not too many people. So we got a waiter with the proper amount of attention to... More

Wonderful food, service, atmosphere. This place has it all. The view was incredible also. We ordered the duck and fish soup to start with and then the fish and steak. All the meals were well prepared, presented and cooked well. The waiter was knowledgeable with wines and recommended a lovely one. There needs to be mentioned that there was a... More

Nice gratinated bachalau with mashed potatoes, carrots, peas and crisp bacon. Good combo well prepared. One of the best I have tasted. Make sure you have a nice Barbarresco to follow.

Fish dishes presented with a deliscious touch, and taste. Not cheap, but very good. If your into dishes of whale, you'll probably find it here. They have a Tamboril which is really something!

The way it used to be made. It actually looks like the stuff my great grandmother made. So, if you are up for trying that, this might be your place. Five stars for being brave enough to serve the un-cosmetic version and being succesful.
