A great, modestly priced place to but a roti or to eat in. The flatbreads themselves are handmade, and the best we've tasted, and the fillings simmer away quietly and become beautifully flavoursome - the goat curry was fantastic. The same fillings can be served with rice, and make a substantial meal with a cold beer, and it'll cost you... More

Went late afternoon and had goat curry with rice and vegetables, chicken and vegetable roti, and shrimp roti. All were very tasty and the rum punch was good too. A good menu choice and friendly staff.

We came twice for casual dinners. All their dishes are cooked in the kitchen and simmered so the flavors are rich. You can have them served as Roti's (ie, wrapped in a tasty flatbread) or plated if you prefer less starch with your meal. And yes, they do serve beer and wine. The owner / staff were very very congenial... More

This is an unassuming little place with seating inside and outside which sells a great range of curries and roti meals at reasonable prices. They sell beer and rum punch too. It's a great option in a part of town full of expensive places. The prawn curry is excellent. The ladies cooking and serving are lovely.

This little eating place is exceptional, when you just want something simple away from two or three course restaurant food go here. It's opposite Daphnes and frankly we enjoyed lunch here far more than our meal at Daphnes. Have a chicken and prawn spicy Roti with a couple of banks beers and your mouth and lips will zing and zang... More

Don't miss this if you have a chance. Wonderful food and service. An inexpensive and very filling meal. Our group had a variety, lamb, fish, chicken and beef, and all were amazing. Nice atmosphere and great service.

I admit I am a little biased, because I'm not sure there is a finer lunch than roti and a cold beer. The Roti Den at Paynes Bay supplies both, with friendly service, a great selection of roti fillings, and an eat in or takeaway option. Delicious roti, generously filled, reasonably priced. Heaven.
