Our go to place in Eastbourne, service is always friendly and efficient. Food is good but they have changed the fries which are served with the mussels but we prefer the previous ones and the last few times Rochefort 10 and other Belgium beers on menu have been out of stock. Good desserts.

We have been here a few times as the moules have always been excellent. On this occasion they unfortunately did not live up to past visits and were fairly tasteless (apart from the sauce). The staff handled our comments well though and gave my wife a free dessert as she did not eat all of the Moules.

We stopped here as a couple for a coffee. Lovely little place by the pier. Would like to revisit in the evening as can imagine the atmosphere being good. Nice coffee and nice staff.

We have been here before but were rather disappointed - particularly with the chips, which were not freshly cooked, despite there being very few customers on the Sunday evening. The service was friendly and helpful.

We'd been meaning to try this place for so long and we're not disappointed. We went on a Tuesday lunch time and were greeted by a friendly lady who pointed us to a table and served us. Both of us had one of their house beers followed by a bottled beer each, all very nice. The plan was to have... More

Been here many years ago and was ok, however, this visit was second to none, great beer, huge choices, staff were all very attentive, nothing to much trouble and the food was very good, great mussel choice and other items if you are not a seafood lover, will be back very soon.

Pleasant restaurant, friendly staff. Great selection of mussel dishes. Live music the night we were there - nice but bit too loud as we wanted to chat too. Basic bistro furniture and tables pretty close to each other but will go again, nice happy atmosphere

In Eastbourne for a night away, we found the Belgian cafe, thought it looked a little unique... the in house brewed beer is very good, the menu has plenty to choose from, there is also an extra menu for march (scallop month), an additional 8 ways to have scallops served !! The food was excellent and the staff were very... More

Great food, fantastic craft beer made on-site and very friendly and helpful staff. I saw families, young n old couples and friends having a great time throughout the day. Definitely the best place to be on the seafront.

Thank James M
