Visited Arlington's again for an evening meal and once again had a great time. I still love the layout of the restaurant as it feels like a better class of restaurant that many of the chain restaurants that are springing up everywhere in Ipswich. They have an exciting new menu with many new dishes that you just wouldn't see on... More

My partner and I came for New Year celebration 2016 - 2017. Tables were set out lovely, music was good, staff were friendly, the food is where it got let down. My other half had steak, which came out stone cold, the waitress very kindly took it back and warmed it up for him. The next thing was my dessert,... More

Me and my partner went for a evening meal, lovely presentation and beautifully seasoned food. For main meal I had a pulled pork burger which was cooked to perfection, my partner had beef stew which tasted delicious. The place had good vibes. Overall lovely service and fantastic food, would definitely come back.

Great variation of food choice with the new menu the pasta carbonara containing whole pieces of ham which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The restaurant had a relaxed feel incorporating 17th century architecture with French screen play decore.  The staff where really friendly. Overall the meal was really good and would recommend Arligingtons to most people.

I like this cafe and go many times for a sandwich before Saturday football at Portman Road. It's usually good but just lately it has taken ages to get food after ordering, even had to cancel one order recently to get to kick-off. This was never a problem until after last Xmas. Something changed behind the scenes??

Situated in a converted ballroom the Arlington gives a feel of days gone by. The atmosphere is cosy and un rushed even when busy. Booking in advance is advised (especially for large parties) though not always necessary depending on day, time. The service is very good with a wide choice of menu and reasonable prices. Been several times and no... More

It was my 60th birthday, and the family had booked a table for Saturday 1st April. Hindsight is a wonderful thing..........several empty tables, someone running in ahead of us with a cabbage (!) and the fact they kept saying they'd 'had a rush at lunch time' and 'the order hadn't come in' should have alerted us. We duly ordered drinks... More

Camembert starter was a full size camembert with some seemingly part bake French stick. No trimmings. Huge for a starter but as husband's starter had not arrived after 15 minutes he helped me eat mine. Then his arrived. Black pudding, I would estimate a quarter of a slice crumbled over 4 scallops on a tablespoon of rocket. Main course for... More

I can't give a full review of Arlingtons as despite checking their website before we made a specific journey to eat there, we discovered on arrival that they where closed for a function. Very poor!

Lovely restaurant. Amazing food and atmosphere. The staff were also very helpful and quick service, which was great if you want to come here on your lunch break or something. Will 100% return
