We had such a great meal on Friday 13/10 we went back yesterday. Wonderful food served promptly in a lovely atmosphere. I can't rate it high enough. Much better than the 'posh' place up the road!!

We went in here to see the oldest pub and found a real gem. Very friendly from the moment we arrived, luckily found a table as all others reserved. Delicious meal, fresh fish and lots of other things on the menu. Definitely worth a visit

We always come here, when visiting the area. We were certainly not disappointed. Food was tasty, plentiful and well presented. Staff were friendly, and the pub had a good atmosphere. Can't wait to get back to Poole again.

The proprietors of this tavern were very attentive and their service excellent. The fish pie was the best I have ever had and the menu exceptional.

Good choice of food, served hot, good service, made to feel very welcome and very helpful staff. Reasonably priced. Good ambience. A very pleasant and relaxing experience having just walked 30 miles on the coast over 3 days!! And climbed nearly 5000 feet!!!
