Dirty, rude staff, poor quality of food. Really wished we'd gone elsewhere. I find Wetherspoons pub generally pretty good but this one was dreadful.

We stopped in with a family of 4, prices were OK and the food was acceptable. It was a busy Sunday night, staff had a hard time keeping up with clearing tables. Food was fine, but very in refined.

Friday fish, chips and peas meal with a drink. Excellent value for money and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended and a nice view of the harbour. Also lovely to sit outside with a drink and enjoying the view. Will certainly visit again.

This pub caters very well for families. The large ground floor is a family orientated area with Over 18's only in the upper floor. Typical Weatherspoons food and drinks. The children's meals were particularly good value and there was a good choice. Plus points were...More

I have a habit of tracking down the local Wetherspoons whenever I visit an area and this was no exception. it is large and especially popular with those who have young children to feed. I found the upstairs gent's toilets badly designed, so much so...More

Decent service and reasonable service. There are nicer places for dinner but a decent pub for a few beers at the end of an evening!

My Dad and I visited for breakfast one Sunday morning, we ordered scrambled eggs for my dad and smoked salmon, rocket and cream cheese bagels for me. The long wait for the food was bad enough but then the order came out wrong twice. The...More

For two breakfast bacon rolls and two coffees with a quick service tap out at £5.50. Free internet to beat but no children upstairs.

Description
JD Wetherspoons The Quay is located on the bustling quayside overlooking Brownsea Island and the World's second largest natural harbour. During the summer months The Quay plays host to various events from classic cars and motorbike nights to pirate family fun days and fireworks nights! A little bit of History: The Quay was the name of the existing pub, taken over by Wetherspoon in March 2004, and has occupied this former warehouse since c1996. In Tudor times, the Quayside was called the Great Quay, even though it was less than 200 feet long! The Little Quay was added and further extended in the late 18th century. This was the New Quay, where this pub and warehouses and wharves were built.
