Sunday lunch, family friendly, very delicious and was home made as opposed to the other franchise pubs microwave. Delicious beef and Yorkshire puds. They also catered for amendments to our 8 yr old sons menu who is still a bit fussy. Just lovely.

The food itself is good but most times I've been (about 5 or 6 now) the waiting times for mains and desserts is too long, even when it is quiet. I could understand waiting an hour or more if the place was full but most times half full and last occasion there was only a handful of tables in. As... More

We had two visits in two days. First visit was for Sunday lunch which was lovely and very filling and reasonably priced especially the kids lunch which was not much smaller in proportion to an adult lunch. Very child friendly. My son took part in a Christmas colourin competition and actually won which was the reason for our second visit... More

Arrived yesterday at 12 noon to enjoy lunch. Greeted warmly by a single member of staff managing the bar. Sat at a table and ordered our meal. The starter took a little time to arrive, but not unreasonable. We then waited for our main course and we waite and we waited. In exasperation I wet up to the waitress, who... More

Visited for Sunday lunch with my husband and we opted for the roast dinner sharing platter. We were very disappointed with the whole meal. Not enough meat for two people; Yorkshire puddings were flat, hard and quite burnt; vegetables were not great and we had to pay extra for mashed potato! Worst of all the whole meal was barely warm.... More
