Whenever my friend and I come here to Sidmouth, we least visit The White Horse cafe, you always get a good portion of all food. Fish and chips are the best and salads are huge. Staff are very friendly and service is quick, will definitely be back and would definitely recommend

We have visited this chip shop multiple times and have never left disappointed. The chicken nuggets are especially good, worth the journey from Taunton, and we would recommend the food to any visitors to Sidmouth! However ... on today's visit to the beach, we found that the hours appear to have changed and they are no longer open in the... More

Battled busy half term queues to get served here but the team we're doing a great job in getting all the orders out. There should be an 'in' and an 'out' door as this caused some confusion when it was busy! Very good quality fish with crispy batter and delicious well cooked chips. Thumbs up!

This fish and chip shop used to be good. For some reason it is now very poor value. The food we bought at the weekend comprised grey over cooked fish and stale tasting chips. We would not go back again. Terrible.

We came here today very busy. Seemed well organised efficient and food was quick. The food was more than enough filling and plentiful. The prices were very good too. Definitely go back.

Went in search of the perfect fish and chips for an early Mothers Day treat for my 97 year old mum and found it. She enjoyed every mouthful...thanks!

We travel 15 miles to the White Horse whenever we fancy fish and chips. The fish is so fresh and the batter light and tasty. The chips are equally good and the premises are so spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely and kept on their toes by the owner who is generally on hand. The prices are fair and the... More

Our party of five we soon seated in this clean and airy premises, staff concentrate on the cooking, you need to place all orders yourself, menus on the table would be helpful. The food was soon ready and once again you had to collect yourself. The food was fine though the chips and peas weer a little on the cool... More

We had takeaway fish and chips. The food is good value and freshly cooked. The fish is excellent with lovely crispy batter and beautifully fresh fish. The chips were double fried and were nice but they are therefore not your typical chip shop chips being much crispier than usual.
