After a visit to Sealife Scarborough, we went to The Old Scalby Mills for lunch. We were all cold and ravenous and it didn't disappoint. The adults had the roast beef, the steak pie and the roast beef baguette. Delicious and plentiful. The children had the children's roast beef, and fish and chips and thoroughly enjoyed those too. The chips... More

Conveniently located and very popular pub with good views over the bay, nice pub menu. We chose the steak baguette and shell on prawns with garlic butter. Drinks were Hobgoblin and Chardonnay. Service was quick and friendly. Food was very tasty, hot and good portion sizes. Worth a visit.

We had visited the Sea Life Centre nearby, and wanted a quick drink to get warm whilst waiting fora lift back home. Ordered drinks and crisps only...suddenly my grandson is very ill...projectile style. Fortunately there were no other customers nearby to be put off their food. Went to the bar to explain, quickly and cheerfully provided with cleaning materials and... More

The food here today was amazing. Thanks to Joe in the kitchen. Also thanks to Scott behind the bar. He was efficient, warm and friendly. The whole place said welcome. When Scott had a spare moment he was tidying and cleaning something even if it really didn't need doing. Would recommend to anyone.

Just had lunch here. Very nice bacon and brie paints, and excellent real ale. Fabulous views across the north bay. Amazingly there's free parking in the nearby Sealife car park until March 1st 2017.

Nice little pub, good food, portions very generous. I ordered child's meal for myself, would of struggled to eat adult portion. Right beside sealife centre so call in before or after your visit there. Dogs are welcome as well.

Living locally we decided to try a meal here after many months, without visiting the place. Turned out to be a big mistake, it had not changed much at all!! The pub was absolutely filthy with many of the tables full of used glasses and plates from previous diners. There were 3 girls at the bar and they were more... More
