Great food. Friendly staff. The manager was a little enjoying and unprofessional telling off a junior member of staff in front of customers tut tut!

Chain restaurant but better than most. Excellent food, good service, lovely atmosphere. Book ahead and ask for a sea view, lovely outside seating area upstairs.

We visited at a busy lunchtime. (2 adults and 3 young children). Kids meal a little pricey due to having to order a separate drink if your child doesn't want a babychino. I ordered a vegan pizza which was very tasty. My husband had a...More

With some eateries in Scarborough closed on a Sunday night, Ask, on the Harbourside was packed. So the atmosphere was just right and the views suitably nautical. I met friendly diners and had a simple Italian meal. Melezane, salad and a glass of red followed...More

It was fine, my husband didn't realise it was a chain when booking and we prefer to eat local. The food was fine, nothing special and service standard. I would recommend Giavannis which is much better food and service for the same pricing. So much...More

The food was average and there wasn't enough of it. The service was just ok. The restaurant was quite busy and I was expecting some really good food, but I was disappointed. My friend was still hungry after eating two courses.

First time eating at Ask. Pleasantly surprised. Food was spot on, washed down with a couple of peronis and cocktails which were really nice. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Only reason it isnt 5 star is the price of the drinks is too high...More

There is an outside seating area so maybe dogs are allowed but I don't really know. I would advise booking a table. My mother and I arrived at 5.45pm and had a 45 minute wait.

Description
You couldn't ask for a better location for dining in Scarborough than that of the superb ASK Italian restaurant. Based in the North Wharf, ASK Italian sits directly opposite the sea and is perched on the harbour side. If you dine upstairs you'll catch the most magnificent views over the sea and Scarborough Castle and the large outdoor seating area is idyllic in the summer months. As for the food, ASK Italian Scarborough serves up classic Italian food with style and flair. The menu is full of tasty Italian dishes such as the Pollo Marsala (chicken supreme cooked in mushroom and Marsala wine sauce served with green beans and a bowl of seasoned chips or roasted new Charlotte potatoes or the delicious salad with marinated king prawns and a spicy chilli and lemon dip. Enjoy a chilled Peroni beer or glass of wine and indulge in the beautiful views and first class food at ASK Italian.
