if you're looking for homemade then the holy loch inn is a must. The mac n cheese was the best I've tasted in a long time and the homemade chips were so tasty. Everything is made from scratch and might take a bit longer to reach your table but I can assure you is worth the wait. The staff are... More

Had dinner here in the bar: the restaurant area looks very similar. Good, tasty, freshly cooked food - scallops with mashed potato, bacon and sage, and apple-stuffed chicken breast. Excellent service by welcoming staff

Excellent food and service. Children also catered for. Steak cooked to perfection, fish tasty if a bit too much for me. Starters were lovely and very well presented.

Stopped in on Saturday night around 7 o'clock - 2 adults, 2 kids and dog. Friendly service and food ok, burger and hand cut chips were very good, steak pie incredibly salty. Decent beer and reasonable prices, biggest downside was it was quite quiet and lacked atmosphere.

Went for a meal, really enjoyed it, excellent fish platter and really good quality steak. Excellent local beer, great Scottish Gin selection and very wide range of Scotch Whisky. This place is great for a meal or just a drink or to spend the whole evening. We come here as much as we can when we are visiting the area.

Called in with a party of 6 on Cowal Games day. Staff (obviously busy) went out of their way to fit us in to restaurant. Food was served quickly to everyone's satisfaction.

The pub has two bars , one that handily for us would allow us to bring the dog in at our feet, and a restaurant bit , which doesn't . The same menu is available , which was a good range of traditional pub fare . I had haggis neeps and tatties with a whisky sauce, ( there was the... More

had dinner here after a couple of weeks sailing holiday on the Clyde. Excellent way to finish a holiday. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Menu was not extensive but all the food was delicious. Especially like their policy of sourcing local produce. thoroughly recommend the holy loch inn
