The first thing you notice when you enter is how Clean the whole place is. They have tradition ales and a good range of drinks to choose from. The food is superb the open fire is a lovely sight to see. The pub has a lovely ambiance and the landlady and landlord are very friendly.

On the main road, good car park. Traditional, unmodernised pub, lots of seating. Many functions advertised for different nights of the week. Friendly locals. Good, knowledgeable bar staff. Basic pub food served.

Looks can be deceiving. We read the reviews on Trip Advisor which encouraged us to visit here for an evening drink as the exterior hides the hidden treasure. We returned the following evening as we enjoyed the drinks so much and were also looking forward to joining in the local quiz. The food and welcome were lovely. Food is typical... More

Wonderful welcome from the 'gaffer' as soon as we walked in, and soon found ourselves chatting with some friendly regulars. Great traditional pub atmosphere. Wonderful selection of drinks including the wonderful Butty Bach on draught which was perfectly conditioned and served.

We're visiting Glasbury for a quiet week off and we called into the Harp for dinner. The food was excellent quality, home cooked and really first rate. The staff were welcoming and cheery and the locals were friendly too. All told, we couldn't have asked for more. We'll be visiting again soon!

Back again to Hay this year and my wife and I called in to the Harp for dinner as we did last year and which I reviewed very favourably. This time we had two companions staying with us. Graham, the landlord, continues to run the place in his same friendly and welcoming style supported by excellent staff. The locally sourced... More

The Harp Inn is in Glasby and we called in on their advertised Folk Night. We were given a warm welcome and although the back room was packed with musicians and enthusiasts, we managed to find a table and had a thoroughly good night drinking (good service) a range of very good ales and singing along with the performers.
