Having met up with an old friend we decided to have lunch at The Wye Bridge. Tuesday is steak day, and I have to say we both had a prefectly cooked Sirloin Steak, accompanied by a pint of excellent cask beer all for £7.75 each If your in the area well worth a visit.

We entered from the side entrance of the establishment, casually strolling past the bar and locating ourselves on table number 24. Once deciding what we wanted to eat and drink, we made our way up to the bar, to be greeted by a bubbly, happy, outgoing, friendly, approachable Simone. I must say, in all my years of dining, I have... More

We only recently found out about this place so as we visit Buxton quite often we decided to give it a try. Situated close to the bottom of the main street with a small car park. It was a really nice sunny day and there were lots of people sitting in the large outdoor area making the most of the... More

A very disappointing trip to this wetherspoons. On the second night of our holiday we decided to try this pub out as it was recommended by our holiday park. On arrival the pub looked good, but on going inside the place looked a dump. There were many tables with dirty empty plates on them. The carpet looked dirty with food... More

We actually dined twice at this Wetherspoon's location in the past 2 days and it just delicious food! The Fish & Chips sublime, the Classic Burger with Chips and a side of Onion Rings...hit the spot! It is a very busy location with an extremely small car park...Buxton is an extremely busy town so be prepared! The restaurant has loads... More

We'd slept in a camper van, on Buxton's outskirts, at the edges of a wood, and where the air was sweet; and now we were seeking breakfast. It was perfect timing that found us a parking place on the road facing Wye Bridge House, and we were struck by its elegant appearance, beautiful setting, and parking facilities. Still, we chose to stay... More
