We went with friends the previous week and had an excellent meal. While there we were told they had started doing cream teas and afternoon teas. Cream teas were on every afternoon but had to book for afternoon teas so we did. It was very...More

The Swan Inn is a nice friendly pub out in the sticks of Little Chart serving decent traditional pub food. The menu isn't extensive but there was enough variety to satisfy all of our tastes. Price wise it's very good value for money. I visited...More

A lovely Saturday lunch in their sunny garden. A friendly welcome, good selection of ales and great food. It was hot and sunny so we were only really in the market for salads but there were lots of tempting hot dishes on the menu. Excellent...More

Lovely quaint old pub. Had a lovely 3 meat Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Very well presented with good cuts of meat. The cheese and cauliflower soup I had for starters was very tasty as was the lemon tart for dessert.

Our party of seven walkers was given a warm welcome when we entered the bar, but it was obvious that there wasn't room for us all to sit together, so the barmaid suggested that we move to the restaurant. We asked if we had to...More

Hi hlindsaysturrock I found your review somewhat confusing and it did not cover the full visit to The Swan. It has made it clear that there is limited choice for vegetarians (didn't understand the mushroom issue) but it makes no reference to the quality or value of the other meals that your companions had. I am not a vegetarian so your review as it stands is not helpful and very detrimental to the pub. ( I have never visited it so cannot make a judgement) Please can I ask you to revisit your review and complete fully to assist others in making their choices. I see that you have only reviewed once on tripadvisor and I would like to say how important it is to make a fair and unemotional review of each establishment you visit so that they are helpful for others make informed decisions
