The restaurant lacks any soul, its a great setting but the staff are definitely not interested in providing a good experience. The food is average and is not worth travelling for!

Couldn't really fault the meal or the venue- at £6.50 per head for a carvery it was excellent value. There were 4 meats choices - The turkey and beef i had were both lovely- pink beef and turkey that was not overcooked. Staff were friendly and attentive.

A group of us visited this week for a carvery lunch. We could tell we were not in the waitress's good books when we ordered a jug of water whilst waiting for the others of our group to arrive and work out the drinks order proper. When I asked for the vegetarian option at the carvery I was told by... More

We went on a Sunday for the Carvery and it was simply delicious. A large helping of delicious rare roast beef and a great selection of vegetables with REAL home made horse radish sauce.

Took my 91 year old aunt here for a carvery lunch. Excellent food and the waitress was very kind and obliging. Very good value for money.

We were very disappointed with the food in this carvery. The place was not full but the service was slow and the staff uninterested. The beef I had was tough and leathery although we went early and it had not be standing about long. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. There was loud music from the speakers which made it... More

I booked the hotel for my son and his girlfriend for one night prior to a family get-together. I live nearby and whenever I have walked my dogs in the woods opposite I have always thought the attractive and inviting looking building would be a lovely place to stay. I went with my son to check in as his girlfriend... More
