Great fresh food, well worth a visit....be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table as it is quite often very busy as it is so popular. The cakes are amazing...if you have any room left after your min course !!

You always get great food and service at The Sea Lane Cafe. It is very busy at this time of year especially if the sun is shining.

The restaurant is nicely located and surprisingly not too busy. Had a full english with chips. Chips were good. Sausage was average. Beans ok. The waitress was not really nice. Price are ok.

A brilliant selection of food. Lovely position on beach. Food was very freshly cooked, hot and tasty. We will be going back for their fish, apparently superbly fresh and tasty.

This should probably be answered by the cafe themselves.
Hi there. I have recently written an unflattering review of the coffee here to which the owner replied typically defensively, rather than sorry on this occasion we made a mistake. Intrigued, I read some of the other reviews and it is quite clear to me that they are not all completely genuine. Famwag includes this comment ''Big family group - no problem, we'll pack your order and bring it to you on the beach. Want less of this and more of that - we'll tell the kitchen. It must be an utterly brilliant business for the owners, and a great way in to employment for the ever-changing, young staff. With the beach on one side (including sand when the tide is out), a large free car park (pay after 2 hours) on the other, and streams of people on coastal walks they certainly need the 150 al fresco seats and the 80 inside for less attractive weather.'' So my question is - do you think Tripadvisor readers are complete idiots to believe that this is a genuine independent review ? What reviewer actually counts all the seats in a restaurant ? I intend to take this up with Tripadvisor, and would like to hear your explanation first.
