The cowshed was highly recommended to me, so I booked a table for 9 for a birthday celebration today. We was not let down at all. Staff were friendly and couldn’t be any more helpful. The food was beautiful and plenty of vegetables to go...More

Lovely Sunday lunch. Could not fault the food or service. My only criticism is that I would expect tea or coffee following the three courses for £24.95

We have have never had a bad meal at the cow Shed . Sunday lunch was perfect. Beef served rare as requested . Service was excellent obviously more expensive than a pub lunch which is to be expected for a quality meal or celebration it...More

If you are a beer drinker they have no draught beer/lagers and can only offer a select few bottled beers. Whilst the food was good there was little atmosphere and some of the furniture had seen better days. Have had better meals for less money.

Have been to the Cowshed before so knew what to expect and lived up to our expectations - the rooms are quite small so it is quieter and therefore you can have a conversation without having to shout at each other. The amuse bouche /...More

Went with a friend for Sunday lunch and had the 2 course option which is just under £20 a head. Obviously it is housed in an old cow-shed with some interesting and quirky decor, but felt just a little lacking in atmosphere and somehow a...More

Visited with friends for lunch. Food was beautifully cooked and the braised beef was to die for. Portion size was good and the 2 course menu for £14.99 or the 3 course for £19.99, excellent value. Would certainly recommend

First time visit for family Sunday lunch. Friendly welcome from pleasant staff and shown to a small dining area part way down the cowshed. Drinks quickly offered but the draw back here for real ale drinkers is that because it is not a pub there...More

The Cowshed has an amazing location which is great for couples and families. The food is really impressive I just can't get enough of the tiger prawns. The service is really good. All in all it's the complete package especially in an area which struggles...More

Any good sat nat should get you there fine. Turn past the Fox at Shipley pub, if approaching from the main road, and follow the road until you go slightly uphill and the entrance will be sign posted on the left.

Set in the South Staffordshire countryside on a working farm just one mile from the village of Pattingham, The Cowshed has been converted into a fantastic contemporary restaurant. Originally the Clive Farm Dairy, the dining room now boasts a stunning interior featuring rustic oak beams and a mezzanine balcony area. The Cowshed's classic modern British menu, under instruction from Head Chef Joe Whitehouse, features favourites such as the pan-seared scallops with pancetta and sherry jus served with ciabatta toast; pan-roasted duck breast served with a zesty potato cake finished with a kumquat and grenadine jus; and the restaurant's signature Cowshed game pie stuffed with quail eggs and served with a sharp home made chutney.
