The doorstopper sandwich with fish fingers on white and the doorstopper sandwich with cheese and beetroot that dad and I had today were tasty and filling. Loads of really tasty chips and salad on the side. Whew couldn't finish but loved the food. Service really good too. Glad we went in on passing. Will eat there again next time in... More

Called in one thurs lunch time with friends, had a decent size portion of the dish of the day, being Ham eggs and chips. Very nice, just good ordinary pub grub. Value for money. Nice atmosphere.

We had beef and chicken Sunday roasts here which was very good value. Generous portions, 5 different veg including really fab cauliflower cheese. Lots of roast lunches being served so obviously popular. Will definitely be back.

Popped in when all quiet in the town. A cold Feb night! Warm welcome however no food being served. However they were happy to allow fish and chips from Seven Seas Chippy next for to be eaten on premises. Not many would allow this but appreciated and a cheap meal out, hence feel obliged to give positive feedback.

Called in to the eagle inn on chance for Sunday lunch, friendly staff, loads of food served up but it could have been a bit hotter. Shame as the food tasted very good.

Discovered this pub whilst visiting Ross on wye. Noticeboard outside advertising stew and crusty bread for £3.95. Must admit this did tempt us in. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The bar and food area were accessible for everyone. There was a mixture of visitors and regulars, got to say a great atmosphere. When our food arrived it was hot,... More

We visited on Wednesday afternoon and it was very quiet. Visited with my two children husband and Dad. Kids eat for £1 and my little girl wanted something which wasn't £1 but they were very accommodating. Food was amazing. I had the largest brunch breakfast. It was very hard to eat it all but I gave it a good go.... More
